Microsoft Windows operating system
To add the Lesson Activity Toolkit to the Notebook software Gallery, computers running the Windows operating system must be using Notebook software 9.5 service pack 5 (indicated as Version 9.5.91.5) or later.

• Pentium II 450 MHz processor
• 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended)
• 136 MB of free hard disk space for minimum installation (511 MB for full installation with SMART Essentials for Educators: Gallery Collections for Notebook software)
• Windows 2000 operating system or later
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
• Adobe Flash Player version 8

Mac OS operating system
Computers using Mac OS operating systems must have Notebook software 9.7 or later.

Mac issues

• Notebook software becomes slow or unresponsive when you add multiple resource-intensive objects to a page, such as Flash objects or video files.
• It is difficult to use the mouse and keyboard with Flash or video files, especially in full screen mode.
• Flash sometimes leaves a transparent image after minimizing or closing Notebook software.
