Overview
Although San Carlo College of Milan, Italy, is deeply rooted in history, it has become one of the first educational institutions in the country to explore the educational potential of interactive whiteboards.

“The students were immediately attracted by this tool which has noticeably contributed to raising their attention and concentration levels during the lesson”

– Massimo Tallarini, history, geography, Latin and religion teacher

Challenge
San Carlo College was looking to implement education technology that could be adapted to grade levels from kindergarten to high school.

SMART Solution
San Carlo has installed more than 40 SMART Board interactive whiteboards in every grade level and Sympodium interactive pen displays in classrooms and laboratories.

Results
Improved learning quality, broader teaching methods and increased teacher-student interaction. Complex and abstract learning was remarkably facilitated. Teachers are astonished at the abilities students have developed as a result of introducing this teaching tool.
