Becta research

A new report commissioned by Becta and written by researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University called "Evaluation of the Primary Schools Whiteboard Expansion Project," says that the more exposure students had to interactive whiteboards, the quicker students progressed.  For example, most students that used an interactive whiteboard extensively in Key Stage 2 (grades three–six) mathematics made the equivalent of 2.5 to 5 months' additional progress.
